KAN-therm edge insulation

The main purpose of the edge insulation is to provide a movement joint (separation) of the heating plate from external walls of a building and other construction parts.

This joint provides also an additional thermal insulation to reduce heat losses thru external walls.

The edge insulation for the KAN-therm System provides a wall band with an incision or a wall band with an incision and apron.

The edge insulation shall be laid up to the height of the gap-filling concrete (in case of ceramic flooring also between a flooring and a wall or building construction element there must be an expansion joint).
