Pipes

Pipes (thin-walled, seamed pipes) are made of an low-carbon steel (RST 34-2) – pipe material 1.0034 to PN-EN 10305-3. Pipes are electroplated (Fe/Zn 88) and receive an 8-15 μm thick zinc coating. Additionally the zinc coating is covered with a passivating chrome coating.  As the pipes are hot galvanised the zinc coating adheres very well to the pipe wall also during bending a pipe. For transport and storage pipes are additionally protected with hot applied oil.
