KAN-therm Steel Sprinkler pipes are made of a non-alloy steel ULC (carbon steel „Ultra Light Carbon) -material No. 1.0031 to EN 10305-3. Pipes are made of a steel strip cold rolled and zinc coated by the Sendzimir technology, i.e. applying the zinc on the steel strip by immersing it in a zinc electrolyte bath, at the same time on both sides. Thus the pipe is protected with a coating on the outside and inside. The zinc coating is at least 20 μm thick. The Sendzimir zinc coating is characteristic for its good adherence and high resistance to corrosion.
