Do more with KAN-therm InoxFlow!

Without a doubt, the manifold is a key element in the distribution of a heating or cooling medium. It is used both in heating installations for radiators, surface (floor, wall, ceiling) heating or cooling and in hot and cold potable water installations. Deriving from 30-year experience, this year KAN-therm introduces a completely new line of manifolds based on 1.4301 grade stainless steel beams.

With pride we present the KAN-therm InoxFlow.

New production technology and the use of a stainless steel profile with a larger inner diameter and a smaller wall thickness than in the case of the brass construction have resulted in the hydraulic capabilities of KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds almost twice as big as in the case of brass version, without sacrificing mechanical durability.

Make the most of KAN-therm InoxFlow unique potential

Higher hydraulic capacity

Thanks to the use of high-quality stainless steel, the design has been tweaked and the size of manifold beams has been increased to 1 ¼"! Compared to manifolds with brass beams present on the market, the active cross-section area of KAN-therm InoxFlow beam is more than 1.5 times larger. Therefore, with KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds you can handle higher flow without worrying that the capacity of the beam is not sufficient.

Health care

Compared to brass, stainless steel also means higher resistance to chloride ions dissolved in water and no possibility of migration of undesirable elements (e.g. lead) from low quality metal alloys to drinking water and thus, higher hygiene and safety.

Modern design

Design does not focus only on high aesthetics, but also on functionality and practicability. Keeping that in mind, we introduced some useful solutions.

Tags on clamps informing about how to connect the heat source will help to avoid any mistakes during installation.

Specially designed plastic clamps with elastomeric inserts with vibration damping function ensure that our manifolds will not disturb even the most sensitive ears.

Laser marking of beams

KAN-therm logo is the guarantee of product originality and assurance of the highest quality.

Clear room identification

The laser numbering on a beam arranges the individual circuits of a manifold, and thanks to the included sticker, there is a possibility of additional description of individual rooms. This label can be easily placed inside the cabinet.

Cover

The modern, elegant fascia panel is an additional accessory which organizes and secures all the manifold's connection elements,
especially electrical wiring of control automatics.

All KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds are covered by a 10-year warranty for the beam profile and a 2-year warranty for control elements, automation elements and circulation pump.

Complete offer for all applications

A wide range of variants of the new KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds covers 100% of current brass constructions and will eventually replace them in the KAN-therm offer.

In order to easily identify each series and consequently, its purpose and equipment, we are introducing a new letter designation system for our manifolds. The first letter explains the application, the second one describes the equipment of the upper beam, the third one describes the equipment of the bottom beam, and the last letter informs about additional equipment.

R - manifolds for central heating and drinking water installations

RBB series KAN-therm InoxFlow manifold (photo 1) is a basic version, without nipples, with female ½” outlets and an ½” female thread opening in the upper part of beams for fixing e.g. a vent. Another design is the RNN series (photo 2): a version equipped with G ¾" nipples on individual circuits, also with an ½” female thread opening in the upper part of beams. The third variant of the KAN-therm InoxFlow manifold is the RVV series (photo 3), which is equipped with G ¾" nipples and shut-off valves on each circuit. Thanks to this design, we can completely cut off the flow through a given radiator without stopping the entire heating installation.

All these manifolds are equipped with female 1” connection to main pipeline.

U - manifolds for surface (floor, wall or ceiling) heating/cooling

The comprehensive range of KAN-therm InoxFlow includes both plain manifolds and manifolds with integrated mixing unit. Depending on the equipment, we offer several variants. Each series is described in detail below.

KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds for surface heating or cooling installations can also operate in glycol systems, with anti-freeze mixtures with glycol concentration up to 50%. The use of failure-free flowmeters guarantees the possibility of precise regulation of flow through individual loops.

KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds without mixing unit

Among the KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds without mixing unit there are designs with balancing valves and flowmeters, and in each of these designs three models are available.

V - manifolds with balancing valves

UVN series (photo 4) is a basic version, equipped only with balancing valves for the hydraulic regulation of installation. A more extended version of this design is the UVS series manifold (photo 5) with balancing valves and servomotor valves. The UVST series (photo 6) includes: balancing valves, servomotors valves, as well as a drain and air vent section and plugs mounted on the right side of the manifold beams.

Manifolds with balancing valves require Allen key to change valve settings. It is an excellent option for public utility investments, where there is a need to maximize the protection of the installation against unauthorized interference.

All those manifolds are equipped with G¾" nipples on the individual outlets and female 1” connection to main pipeline.

F  - manifolds with flowmeters

These are the most popular constructions used on the installation market. Flowmeters employed in the production of all KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds have the possibility of precise hydraulic adjustment (setting the required flow rate) in the range of 0–2,5 l/min.

As a standard, for transport purposes, the manifold beams equipped with flowmeters are factory set with flowmeters facing downwards, thus protecting them against mechanical damage. However, thanks to the appropriate construction of the beam, when installing KAN-therm InoxFlow manifold in the system, there is no need to completely unscrew it from clamps. Simply rotate the beam in the axis to restore the correct beam arrangement with the flowmeters. Quick and unproblematic solution.

We offer 3 models: basic version of the UFN series (photo 7) with only flowmeters; more extensive UFS series (photo 8) with flowmeters and servomotor valves; and the most equipped UFST series (photo 9) with flowmeters, servomotor valves and a drain and air vent section, and plugs mounted on the right side of the manifold beam.

All those manifolds are equipped with G¾" nipples on the individual outlets and female 1” connection to main pipeline.

MAX - with  flowmeters 0-5 L/min

A version of the UFSTmax manifold with 0-5 l/min flowmeters is also available.
Such manifold is dedicated for installations requiring increased flows. Increased flow allows for use of InoxFlow manifolds in commercial and public buildings.

UFSTmax manifold is especially recommended for use with innovative, low-temperature heat sources.

Precision flowmeters enable operation in glycol systems, which means that KAN-therm InoxFlow manifolds are perfectly compatible with both heating and cooling systems.

U..P - manifolds with integrated mixing unit

This type of double-function manifolds is a very popular solution in the case of mixed installations, i.e. a combination of a traditional radiator installation with a floor, wall or ceiling (low-temperature) radiant systems.

These constructions are available as the USVP series (photo 10) with balancing valves and the USFP series (photo 11) with flowmeters. As a standard, both of these series are equipped with G¾" nipples as individual outlets, servomotor valves, a drain and air vent group fixed in the manifold beam passage and the pump mixing unit. Connection to main pipeline is female ½”.
