KAN-therm systems in the Lusail Katara Hotel in Qatar
Another object was implemented using KAN-therm heating systems. This time in Qatar, a country which has been surprising the whole world with its extraordinary architecture for many years.
The Lusail Katara Hotel is one more architectural pearl created specially for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The design of towers with its gently curving lines resembles crossing swords, which are also located on the emblem of this country. 5* and 6* hotels, huge residences, offices, boutiques, luxury restaurants and chic places to relax will be located in the towers. One of the luxury 5* SPA Hammam is equipped with KAN-therm systems.

The KAN-therm Tacker system was used for underfloor heating installation, it fits perfectly, because the heated surface had an irregular shape, limited by stationary equipment. We used PERT blueFLOOR pipe, which is specifically designed for this type of installation. The blueFLOOR pipe is very elastic, making it easy to install, especially in surface heating installations. The installation of seats and tables was supposed to take as little space as possible. So the KAN-therm TBS system worked perfectly here.
Moreover, thanks to professional use of such system components as TBS scroll saw tool and metal lamellas with adjustable length, it was possible to carry out installation even in the most non-standard places.
Stainless steel manifolds - InoxFlow series UFST - meeting the highest standards, were also used in some places. SMART wireless automation in the safe voltage version of 24V was used for effective system control.
The Lusail Katara Hotel will become a symbol of Qatar’s hospitality, the national seal of the country, and an important reference object for KAN.
